There are over 1,000 people in Las Vegas living in 200 miles of flood water tunnels underground. Came across an article on it in a magazine the other day, its amazing. They build their lives underground, due to poverty and drug addictions, bankruptcy or loss in the family. Its horrible, but it seems like a good escape from suffering on the streets, despite the fact there is water all over the ground.

These two people, Steven and Kathryn, i was reading about have been living down there for 5 years and have full on decked their space out. He was forced into the tunnels after his heroin addiction caused him to lose his job.
He says he is now clean and the pair survive by ‘credit hustling’ in the casinos, racking second-hand clothes to check the slot machines for chips accidently left behind.

This other woman below lives down there too. Her and her hubby lost their home when they became addicted to drugs after the death of their son Brady at four months old.
